Okay, only by M-----l's demand. :P
So, what have I been up to?
Not much.
I work. I read. I see movies. I eat. The eating you can keep up with on wine me, dine me. The rest, you can keep up with here.
So what have I been reading and watching? I'm sort of obsessed with Tudor England right now. In fact, it's all I can do to not read Phillippa Gregory's historical novels about the period here at work. They're not high literature, but man are they fun and well researched and a fantastic way to learn about history.
So far, I've read:
Work is work. I'll have been here for a year, officially, on March 19th. I'm pretty OK with what I do, and am darn good at what I do, so I don't see myself changing anything for a bit. I wish I got paid more, but who doesn't?
That leads into my current fun: car repairs. My 9-5 has 11,000 miles put on it by me since I bought it last June, so it needs some repairs. And oy, they're expensive:
Serpentine belt
brakes (and rotors!)
3 tires
a new headlight
Blah.
So if anyone needs a freelance writer/editor/SEO/gal about town/marketer/whatever, you know who to call.
I also bought a new camera-- a Nikon S200, super cheap at Costco. It's also tiny, so I won't have the problems I did in Paris with a bulky, oversized camera. It also means I have to make sure not to lose it. I'm taking a ton of pictures, and they're all upon my Flickr. Most of them are food. :)
I survived the Blizzard of 2008 by Bockfesting, cooking, watching movies (American Psycho, which I'd seen but Terry had not, and Paris Je T'aime, which I just adored) and reading.
See? Boring life. What's up with you?

M-----l claims I'm his source for fancy words when you're not around. Frankly, I think that's ludicridiculobsurdoposterous.
