My apartment!

For reference, in case you've just joined us, I moved out of the house I bought with my husband in Westwood to a new bachelorette pad.

I live in Historic Over the Rhine, part of downtown Cincinnati. I have a view of St. Mary's Church, where all sorts of people died from cholera a hundred years ago. I finally popped into the church last Saturday-- it's gorgeous inside, too!

My property management company has done a great job with the place-- renovating and maintaining. My windows all have flower boxes (that thankfully I don't have to water-- I'd kill them) and the interiors are really thoughtful and well laid-out and gorgeous. I have at least one friend who wants to move into a similar apartment, and a few others that just drool with envy.

It's a studio (which everyone swears doesn't look like a studio) I just adore it (and so do the cats!).

As you can see, it's fairly large. My favorite part is the kitchen-- I love the design and the pot rack and all of the stainless steel. It's perfect for entertaining! I just bought the couch and chair-- which I'm also in love with. I need a few more things to spruce up the place, a little more artwork-- but otherwise, I am very happy.

Some people have asked about the bathroom: I'll post pictures of it some other time. I also have a really nifty long hallway. I'm planning on doing more with the bedroom area (I hate the look of just a comforter over pillows, though obviously the cat doesn't care). There's a little table near the dining area that I intend to use for a bar. I'm combing all sorts of decorating blogs for ideas-- this is so fun!
